WE Day
Earlier this year, Fox Communications worked with the in-house PR team at WE Charity to event manage and publicise WE Day – a star-studded day of music and empowering speeches delivered by celebrities like Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Naomi Campbell and Liam Payne to an audience of over 12,000 at Wembley Stadium.
Services Provided:
- Engaged the media using co-founders as thought leaders and local schools as case studies.
- Ensured the event was attended by key wide-reaching media channels across print, online and broadcast.
- Organised the red carpet and media pens, paparazzi, videographers and 1-2-1 interviews between the celebrities and top national media, ensuring the content focussed on the charity and the day.
- Generated over 2,000 pieces of national, regional and consumer print and online coverage, and over 6 billion earned impressions globally in under 24hours.
With the charity already famous in the US and Canada, the objective was to raise awareness around WE Charity and WE Day in the UK.
