From the spa to the bar, the new Penhaligon’s Potions package includes speciality scented cocktails, personalised scent profiling and sensory spa time
Bath’s celebrated five-star retreat, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, is partnering with legendary British perfumers, Penhaligon’s, to launch a new sensory escape. Guests booking the Penhaligon’s Potions package can sip new speciality cocktails inspired by the Penhaligon’s Potions collection, embark on an exclusive scent profiling experience, and will receive complimentary scents to spritz throughout the stay.
Launching in May, each moment of the Royal Crescent experience will be infused with a signature Penhaligon’s scent. Stroll through the acre of secluded gardens with a Kiss of Bliss, a concoction of bergamot and green clover; tuck into locally sourced, contemporary cuisine at Montagu’s Mews restaurant with Eau the Audacity, with orange blossom, vanilla, and incense; and drift off to sleep with the scent of Liquid Love, combining pink pepper, ginger and turmeric with fiery chilli and musk.
Guests booking the package will receive a Penhaligon’s discovery set to spritz their way through their stay, plus an exclusive invitation to the brand’s Bath outpost for a unique scent profiling experience. At the store, a Fragrance Sommelier will expertly match each individual’s preferences to a scent from the Penhaligon’s collection.
Before dinner at Montagu’s Mews, guests can sip on a Penhaligon’s Potions-themed cocktail in the bar. Liquid Love has been rethought with Sapling vodka, strawberry and rose, while Vra Vra Vroom is an indulgent concoction of coconut rum, raspberry, lime and white chocolate, ensuring a multi-dimensional experience for the senses.
