The Ritz-Carlton Central Park, New York is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Rogers as their new General Manager. Andrew has over 30 years of experience within the Marriott and Ritz-Carlton brands and it’s his first time working at this property.

Having started the role on February 26 2024, Andrew is responsible for the oversight and function of all operations at the iconic property, located in Midtown Manhattan, while serving as head executive to management and hotel staff.

Andrew makes the move back to the East Coast from within the Marriott family, having most recently served as General Manager for the The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Recently named the ‘Best Resort on Maui’ by Condé Nast Traveler, Andrew led two hotel re-openings during his five years in the role – once after the pandemic and again following the Maui wildfires – and oversaw the $100M renovation.

Prior to this, Andrew served as multi-property Vice President and General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing. Here, he oversaw eight Marriott luxury brands in northern China, including The St. Regis. W, and The Ritz-Carlton.

Renowned for his results-oriented expertise in hotel openings, leadership development, owner relations, revenue, and financial management, Andrew has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and accolades throughout his career. This includes being named General Manager of the Year, at the Hotelier of the Year Awards China in 2015.
