Cycladic Getaway MAGMA Resort Santorini Appoints Fox Communications as UK & US PR Agency
Fox Communications has been appointed by MAGMA Resort Santorini, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, to lead an integrated communications strategy across the UK and US markets and positioning the luxury hotel through creative campaigns and targeted media relations.
About the hotel
The five-star MAGMA Resort Santorini opened in August 2022 as the inaugural property of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Greece. Set on Santorini’s secluded north-eastern coast in the village of Vourvoulos, MAGMA Resort is surrounded by an enchanting setting of lava-made slopes, volcanic vineyards and endless Aegean Sea views – including from the hotel’s sleek main infinity pool. The resort is perfectly positioned to allow for privacy away from the island’s bustling crowds, whilst also being a short drive from the airport – less than fifteen minutes – and the renowned landmark locations and hotspot towns of Oia and Fira.

The property holds 59 stylish guestrooms, including 24 suites, 80% of which have water features – jacuzzies and private pools – alongside unobstructed Aegean Sea views from 80% of the rooms. MAGMA’s architecture and design is traditionally Cycladic, honouring the natural elements of the hotel’s landscape, with the exterior of the property cleverly formed in a curved structure to seamlessly blend into the surrounding hillside. Interiors incorporate earthly elements such as wood, stone, volcanic rock, blending magma-black tones with a contemporary, light colour palette. Curated by People and Elastics Architects, the property’s unique design is an ode to both the local heritage and beauty of the region.
