New Festive Experiences for 2023
Located in the idyllic Wiltshire countryside, Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa is an exceptional choice for a winter getaway. New for 2023, the hotel has launched a collection of events and overnight packages for an unforgettable festive season.
Well positioned for winter walks amongst 12 acres of gardens and woodland surrounding the river Avon, guests can venture out on foot before cosying up by the fireside in the oak-panelled Drawing Room, dining on seasonal delights in Grey’s Restaurant and Michelin-starred The Dining Room, or soaking and floating in the calming Aquarias Spa. Pets are invited to join in the celebrations, too, with a collection of dog-friendly rooms plus toys and treats gifted by Santa Paws.
Festive Events & Dining
November & December
Throughout November and December, Whatley Manor is hosting a series of events to ensure guests are feeling fabulously festive. A series of Wreath Making Workshops kicks off on 25th November, led by a local Malmesbury florist, who will demonstrate how to make a door wreath with fresh foliage and empower guests to unleash their creative flair. The hotel’s private cinema will be showing festive favourites such as Love Actually and The Holiday throughout December, with a Film & Dine package including a two-course dinner at Grey’s Restaurant after the show. The seasonal a la carte menu features a unique take on festive flavours, with dishes such as guinea fowl with herb stuffing, fondant potato and hay roasted carrot, and partridge choux farci served throughout the season.
Wreath Making costs £105pp including lunch or afternoon tea. Film & Dine costs £42.50pp.
