Fox Communications has been appointed to lead a creative PR and influencer / KOL strategy in the UK to increase brand awareness and positioning, with a focus on the group’s luxury and premium brands, as well as its properties in the UK. Focus brands include ME by Meliá, The Meliá Collection, Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts, and ZEL, a new lifestyle brand created as a joint venture with tennis legend, Rafa Nadal.
Founded in 1956 in Mallorca, Meliá Hotels International is a leading worldwide resort operator with a portfolio of more than 400 hotels throughout more than 40 countries. The group’s commitment to responsible tourism has led it to become the Most Sustainable Hotel Company in the World, according to the last S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment. New Opening: ZEL Launches in Joint Venture with Rafa Nadal
Mallorca (July 2023)
ZEL, the new hotel brand created in a joint venture with tennis legend, Rafa Nadal, has opened its doors in vibrant Palmanova, Mallorca. Primely located along a half-mile stretch of white sand and crystal-clear waters, ZEL Mallorca offers exploration of authentic local culture and embodies the unmistakable warmth of a Mediterranean home. Reflecting a passion for freedom and open-air living, a patio concept is at the heart of the hotel. Replacing a traditional reception (guests check in via digital kiosk) the patio houses a concept store, speciality café, and Mediterranean Lounge. The hotel houses 165 creatively designed rooms (21 of which are Suites or Junior Suites) each peppered with local art, a signature Beso Beach Mallorca restaurant, two swimming pools, gym with professional trainers, spa and wellness centre, and a programme of local excursions, with hiking and cycling routes selected exclusively by Rafa Nadal.
New Opening: Ngorongoro Lodge
Tanzania (July 2023)
