Play Hard, Relax Harder
South Place Hotel, the City’s most vibrant boutique hotel, has joined forces with cutting-edge wellness brand Get A Drip to create the ultimate summer party experience, Retox to Detox. Launching this July, the Retox to Detox package is designed to help partygoers make the most of their East London weekend: retox with cocktails in South Place’s buzzy 3 Bar, dinner, and a night in one of Shoreditch’s most iconic venues – selected from the in-room ‘Party Guide’ – before detoxing with Get A Drip’s vitamin infusion, relaxing massage, and nutritious breakfast.
LET’S GET THE PARTY STARTED
A destination within a destination, South Place Hotel is the ideal base to get ready for a night out in style. The spacious rooms and suites boast bathrooms with walk-in marble showers and expansive bathtubs, a fully stocked mini bar, and a B&O television that can be used to play music while guests get dressed up. Exclusively prepared for Retox to Detox, a ‘black book’ Party Guide including East London’s most iconic venues and a weekly events calendar awaits guests in their rooms to provide inspiration for the weekend. Before they hit Shoreditch’s quirky bars and clubs, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary Tanqueray gin cocktail at the hotel’s signature 3 Bar and fuel up with a meal from South Place Chop House’s new summer menu.
GOING OUT OUT
South Place Hotel’s exclusively curated ‘Party Guide’ includes recommendations on the liveliest venues in East London. Chosen for their vibrant atmosphere and high-spirited vibes, these bars and clubs offer guests a real taste of East London’s nightlife; try Colours Hoxton for an inclusive live music venue with a stellar line up of gigs and DJ sets, The Blues Kitchen for its southern US inspired ambiance, or Village Underground, housed in a renovated turn-of-the-century warehouse – no matter the partygoer, there’s something for every taste.
THE MORNING AFTER…
South Place Hotel comes to the rescue with its ‘detox kit’ consisting of a shot of vitamins from London’s top IV clinic, Get A Drip, a nourishing breakfast at the hotel’s contemporary brasserie Chop House and a relaxing full body-massage at the property’s wellness centre. The morning after the night before, guests can choose from a range of different vitamin combinations designed to hydrate (“Hydration”), energise (“Energy”), support immunity (“Immunity”) or purify the system (“Detox”). The IV, administrated by a certified nurse, will cause a pleasant cooling sensation and is proven to give a tangible post-drip boost of energy.
Suitably relaxed, guests can head to Chop House for a refuelling breakfast. Devised by the hotel’s new Head Chef, Jake O’Riley, the breakfast menu features tasty dishes such as a Roll with Fried Egg and Hollandaise Sauce, Oak Smoked Salmon and Eggs on Sourdough Bread and the classic Full English Breakfast (also prepared in a vegetarian fashion). Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in croissants, Pain au Chocolat or American Style Pancakes with Banana and Nutella. Achy heads and tired bodies can be soothed at South Place Hotel’s wellness centre, an oasis of peace featuring steam rooms, saunas, and sensory showers with three types of rainfall. For an extra dose of relaxation, guests can enjoy a full body massage or wellness ritual in the hotel’s serene treatment rooms.
Conveniently located between Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations, South Place Hotel is famous for its eclectic design, remarkable art collection peppered across each of its 80 stylish bedrooms, and rotating art installations that have seen partnerships with artists such as Sophie TEA, Sara Pope and Laurence M White. Home to two restaurants, three bustling bars and a Secret Garden for private events, South Place Hotel has cemented its reputation as East London’s prominent lifestyle hub.
The Retox to Detox package costs from £400 per room per night. It includes two complimentary cocktails, one dinner at Chop House for two, breakfast for two, and a Vitamin Drip treatment.
