Es Saadi Marrakech Resort invites children to discover Moroccan culture in newly renovated Kids Club

The iconic Es Saadi Marrakech Resort believes that a happy child on holiday means a happy holiday for all. This Autumn, the team is delighted to announce a complete renovation of their magical Kids Club. Set in one of the largest private parks in Marrakech, the newly refurbed club is designed to spark curiosity and provide an immersion into authentic Moroccan culture, for children from 4-12 years old.

For children eager to discover the wondrous traditions of the Moroccan people, henna art workshops take place daily as well as language lessons in Arabic writing, and they are invited to learn how to cook local Moroccan cuisine as they are taught recipes that have been handed down through the generations. Using fresh ingredients from the resort’s family-owned organic farm, Le Bled, little chefs are taught how to create flavourful and aromatic dishes for the whole family, along with fresh mint tea and they can even create their own fruit mocktails for a tasty after dinner treat.

With workshops designed to stimulate imagination and awaken the senses, creative kids can try their hand at painting and drawing inspired by over 400 works of art after they visit the luxurious Es Saadi Palace art gallery, before joining a jewellery making session or a unique floral art class, following a day of gardening in the exotic gardens. Children can then learn how to play traditional Moroccan music and songs before mastering the traditional dance of Morocco, for a fun performance to be shared with the whole family.

Those who prefer to get active on holiday can try child-friendly yoga, dance, gymnastics and tennis lessons with teachers suited to all ages and abilities, before joining a fun mini Olympic games competition in the Kids Club. The daily yoga sessions are held by expert yoga teachers from luxury clubs across Europe, and all fitness classes are held either in the beautiful resort gardens with views of the Atlas Mountains or the two high-tech, bright and airy fitness studios.

A team of highly experienced and specialised childcare professionals will hold daily tailor-made activities and workshops adapted to suit all tastes and ages, and new activities will be brought in each year to ensure their tiny travellers are getting the most out of their experience. When they’re not taking advantage of this exciting activity programme, children can play in the several indoor and outdoor play areas or take a dip in the heated outdoor pool.

Whilst the little ones are occupied, adult guests can relax knowing their children are in safe hands and take refuge in the incredible Es Saadi Palace Spa, renowned as the most spectacular spa in North Africa. Designed around a 100-year-old eucalyptus tree and suitable for ages 16+, parents can enjoy treatments such as a Moroccan Hamman, hydro massage bath or facials in the Dior Institute, before taking to the Oriental Thermae® where a series of hot and cold rooms will purify, detox and revitalise the body.
